Adblock Plus works the same way that AdAway does and it also removes all the ads that you will see on your Android device. It does this by blocking the access to the servers that are responsible for serving ads by modifying the host file on your Android device and since it changes the host file, it requires that your Android device must be rooted in order for Adblock Plus to work. It is a good alternative for AdAway and for people who prefer Adblock over AdAway.
